The People’s Committee of Thanh Hoa province established Bai Tranh Industrial Park on December 24, 2013, under Decision No. 4602/QD-UBND, which issued the detailed construction plan at a scale of 1/500. Positioned as a bridge between the North and Central regions, Thanh Hoa holds significant strategic economic importance. This provides an opportunity to expand the industrial park and promote economic development.

Bai Tranh Industrial Park is located in Xuan Binh commune, Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province.

The investor of this industrial park is Thanh Hoa Investment and Development Corporation.

Bai Tranh Industrial Park is located within the planning of the South Thanh – North Nghe region, identified as the center and high-growth pole of the central economic region with the characteristics of an industrial-commercial, service-tourism urban area.

The industrial park is part of the North Central Coast region. It is experiencing dynamic and comprehensive socio-economic development. There is a particular focus on industrial development. The aim is to transform the province’s economic sectors towards industrialization and modernization.

The planning of this industrial park:

  • The overall industrial and commercial development plan of Thanh Hoa province until 2020 designated Bai Tranh Industrial Park as the industrial zone that attracts projects related to agricultural and forestry processing, mineral exploitation, and construction materials production.
  • In the South Thanh – North Nghe regional plan, Bai Tranh Industrial Park is located on the Nghi Son – Bai Tranh transportation axis, identified as one of the important East-West transport routes, connecting from Ho Chi Minh Highway to the Nghi Son economic zone.
  • The general urban planning of Bai Tranh in Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province until 2025, has determined that the location of Bai Tranh Industrial Park is in the eastern direction of the urban area.

To fully leverage the position, location, and potentials of the area, and to implement specific plans for regional planning, general planning, and sectoral planning, it is necessary and urgent to establish a detailed plan for the construction of Bai Tranh Industrial Park. This is essential in the context of industrialization and modernization of the country in general, as well as the North Central Coast region and Thanh Hoa province in particular.

Infrastructure of Bai Trang Industrial Park – Thanh Hoa:

Transportation System:

  • Foreign transportation: The research area has the Nghi Son – Bai Tranh route, which connects from Ho Chi Minh Road to Nghi Son Port.
  • Domestic transportation:

Currently, the commune is investing in the construction of a local axis road connecting Nghi Son – Bai Tranh through the Xuan Binh commune to residential areas in Thon 7, with a road width.

  • Apart from the asphalt road, the remaining roads are made of graded soil, stones, trails, and divided rubber plantation areas.

Electricity System:

The national power grid is supplied from the 35kV line, route 377 from the 110kV Nong Cong intermediate substation with a capacity of (1×25) MVA-110/35/10kV.

Water Supply System:

There is no clean water supply system for the area.

Water for domestic use in the research area is groundwater obtained through wells and boreholes. This water source is not stable throughout the year and is usually scarce during the dry season. Water for agricultural production comes from Dong Can Lake with a useful capacity of 1.6 x 10^6 m^3 per year.

Fire Protection System:

They install firefighting equipment alongside the clean water system to ensure safety for the industrial park.

Telecommunication Services:

They install the telecommunication system according to international standards, providing advanced network connectivity for both domestic and international communication.

Industry attracting investment The industrial Park:

The division of occupations is made into three groups:

  • Group A:

Agricultural and forestry processing.

  • Group B:

Manufacturing agricultural and forestry machinery and equipment; Mechanical repair services.

Warehousing services; Packaging production… (supporting industries).

Extraction, production, and processing of construction materials, which are currently in operation.
