The investor of the Industrial Park is a strategic joint venture between Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation (KBC) and Foxconn Group (Taiwan). Vinhomes IZ is responsible for the infrastructure development of the industrial park.

Nam Trang Cat Industrial and Urban Area is built with a modern and international approach. It is divided into four zones:

II. Geographical location of Nam Trang Cat Industrial Park – Hai Phong

Nam Trang Cat Industrial Park is located in Truong Cat Ward, Hai An District, Hai Phong City. Vietnam.

The industrial park is situated behind Cat Bi Airport and adjacent to the final point of the Ha Noi – Hai Phong Expressway. To facilitate convenient transportation to the industrial park, Trang Cat Urban Development Company has invested nearly 100 billion VND to construct a 4-lane underpass connecting the Ha Noi – Hai Phong Expressway. Additionally, it will open a road connecting the Lach Huyen Bridge intersection to the embankment road along the Lach Trach River.

The location provides direct transportation connectivity from Duong Kinh and various districts and suburbs to the Dinh Vu and Lach Huyen industrial clusters. We can see on the map that Nam Trang Cat IP is the hub of this vital transportation network.

VI. Investment incentives in Nam Trang Cat Industrial Park – Hai Phong

Corporate Income Tax

Cooperatives and newly established businesses from investment projects enjoy a corporate income tax rate of 10% for 15 years, starting from the commencement of production and business activities. They are exempt from corporate income tax for 4 years from the taxable income and enjoy a 50% reduction in tax payable for the following 9 years.

The Ministry of Finance shall decide and submit to the Prime Minister for approval, when necessary, projects in the special investment preferential sectors that have significant economic and social impact and require higher encouragement for higher incentives.

Personal Income Tax

Individuals working in the Economic Zone, both Vietnamese and foreign, are eligible for a 50% reduction in personal income tax on their taxable income.

Export Tax, Import Tax

The following cases are not subject to export tax or import tax:

  • Goods are exported from the duty-free zone to foreign countries.
  • Goods are imported into the duty-free zone and used exclusively within the duty-free zone.
  • Goods transferred from one duty-free zone to another.

Value Added Tax

  • Goods and services traded between foreign countries and duty-free zones and between duty-free zones are not subject to value-added tax.
  • Goods and services sold or supplied within the duty-free zone are subject to a 0% value-added tax rate.
