I. Overview of Sao Mai Industrial Park:

Sao Mai Industrial Park is located in Villages 2 and 4, Hoa Binh Commune, Kon Tum City, Kon Tum Province.

Situated near the intersection with National Highway 14, it offers convenient connections to major economic centers such as Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang, providing favorable conditions for transportation and trade.

This industrial park is among the most promising ones, focusing on the construction of medium and small-scale factories and enterprises that cause minimal environmental pollution. It has attracted numerous domestic and foreign industrial investors.

With a total area of 150 hectares, the industrial park has successfully drawn various large-scale domestic and international projects into operation. This has led to a considerable influx of workers from different provinces, promising to provide a highly skilled workforce for the Central region’s industrial parks. The infrastructure investor is the Kon Tum Province Economic Zone Infrastructure Development Investment Company.

The development orientation for the industrial park includes regularly upgrading its infrastructure to ensure continued land leasing for investors in this industrial park. The planning of the industrial park is closely linked with the Sao Mai Urban and Service Area.

II. Infrastructure of Sao Mai Industrial Park:

We design and construct the infrastructure of our industrial park with comprehensive, multi-functional features that meet international standards… It comprises:

An Electrical System:

This operates from a 35Kv power grid line at a 110Kv transformer station with a high capacity, supplied by EVN.

A Water System:

It meets all the needs of daily life and other manufacturing activities with a capacity of 5,000 cubic meters per day, sourced from the industrial park’s water plant.

A Drainage System:

This is designed separately for rainwater and wastewater.

A Wastewater Treatment System:

The industrial park centrally treats the waste from factories, as well as daily life, at a capacity of 500 cubic meters per day before discharging it into the natural environment.

A Communication System:

VNPT network installs telecommunication services in line with international standards, facilitating domestic and international communication.

Transportation Infrastructure:

This includes an internal two-lane road of 24-28 meters wide, and a main four-lane road 35 meters wide to accommodate large vehicles. A new road will be constructed through this area in the future.

Greenery System:

This is based on a green, clean, and beautiful criterion, covering the entire industrial park of Kon Tum, and reducing the impact on the environment of the rented factory buildings.

Fire Safety System:

This is installed alongside the clean water system to ensure the safety of the industrial park.

III. Industry attracting investment in The Industrial Park:

Our industrial park encourages investment in the following industries. These sectors comprise medium and small-scale enterprises and factories that cause minimal environmental pollution and cater to domestic and export markets:

• Food Processing Industry:

This sector involves the transformation of raw ingredients into food or the transformation of food into other forms.

This is critical for delivering a variety of foods to consumers and the export market.

• Medicinal Plant Processing:

This involves processing raw medicinal plants into products ready for final utilization.

This supports healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry both domestically and for export.

• Agriculture and Forestry Product Processing:

This sector includes activities like converting raw agricultural and forestry goods into products ready for sale.

It is vital for domestic consumption and export.

• Building Materials Manufacturing:

This involves the production of materials used in construction, including cement, steel, concrete, and others.

These products form the foundation for our infrastructure.

• Transport Equipment, Electrical and Electronic Device Manufacturing:

This includes the production of transportation devices, and electrical and electronic equipment which are critical components in both the domestic market and for exports.

• Consumer Goods Manufacturing:

This industry actively produces a wide array of products for direct use by consumers.

This sector plays a significant role in serving the daily needs of people in our country and for exports.
