I. Overview of Hoa Binh Industrial Park:

The Industrial Zone is located at 304 Pham Van Dong Street, Nguyen Trai Ward, Kon Tum City, Kon Tum Province.

The founding time is according to the Decision No. 358/QD-CT dated 19/6/2013 by the People’s Committee of Kon Tum Province to establish the Hoa Binh Industrial Zone, Kon Tum Province. The Kon Tum Provincial Economic Zone Infrastructure Development Investment Company develops it.

Hoa Binh Industrial Zone is strategically positioned on National Highway 14, the main route connecting South Central Highlands, coastal Central, and Southern provinces.

It serves as the southern gateway to Kon Tum City, located just 2 kilometers from the city center in Le Loi Ward.

Furthermore, leveraging its natural resource potential, ample labor force, and favorable social conditions, the economic zone holds a strategic position in the heart of the Central Highlands. It acts as a pivotal economic gateway linking Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, as well as the northeastern provinces of Thailand. Investing in this region promises substantial returns.

II. Infrastructure of Hoa Binh Industrial Park:

Industrial Zone Internal Traffic:

The designers planned a main traffic axis (Route 1) to run from National Highway 14 to the western end of the Industrial Zone, cutting across the last ring road. This design created the main traffic route within the Industrial Zone.

They also established a second route that connects to the existing road in the North and passes through the Industrial Zone along the North-South axis. This route further connects to the existing road in the residential area located in the South of the Industrial Zone:

  • Route 1 – B1 cross-section = 32.0 m (8+16+ 8) m.
  • Route 2 – B2 cross-section = 24.0 m (6+12+6) m.

Traffic connection to the area:

  • Ring road and foreign traffic: Based on existing traffic routes of National Highway 14, the northern land road of the Industrial Zone, the ring road, and foreign traffic of the Industrial Zone were designed:
    National Highway 14: The section passing through the Industrial Zone was designed wide and ensured the isolation distance between National Highway 14 and the Industrial Zone, with a B1 cross-section = 45.0 m (18+10×2+2+5)m.
  • Northern ring route: Designed in two sections.

Section 1: Connected from National Highway 14, passing through the boundary between Be, as in Be jorome!

Section 2: Connected from Route 1, passing through the boundary between the Hoa Binh industrial cluster and the northern joint venture, connecting to the IaReBang creek water dam, B3 cross-section = 17m (4.5+8+4.5)m.

Western ring route:

Designed to connect from the northern ring route, passing through the South, separating the Industrial Zone and the fields to the West of the Industrial Zone, B4 cross-section = 17m (4.5 + 8 + 4.5)m.

Electrical Supply System:

  • Power source: Use a 110/22kv-2x10MNA transformer station from the 110kv line to supply the Southern area of DakBla River.
  • Grid:

The grid mostly goes above ground, starting from the 110 KV Industrial Zone station, pole lines arranged on the sidewalk part of the traffic routes, centrifugal concrete poles 12.5 m high.

Street lighting is supplied by a single-phase grid station, using mercury pressure cable bulbs and 8.5m high centrifugal concrete poles.

Water Supply System:

  • Source: Initially use groundwater (drilled wells), in the following years use the common water source of Kon Tum City.
  • Network: The water supply pipe has a diameter of ɸ 100; ɸ 150; ɸ 200; total length of 215.51. The distribution pipe, regardless of its length, connects to the transfer pipe with a diameter of ɸ 75; on average, the length from the distribution pipe connects each to the same level as in the art of the earth.

Wastewater Treatment System, Environmental Sanitation Waste:

  • The stormwater and wastewater system is completely separate. Workshops and factories generating particularly harmful wastewater must undergo treatment to comply with the standards.
  • The construction of ditches and sewers utilizes round concrete sewers and reinforced concrete culverts.

III. Industry attracting investment of The Industrial Park:

The Industrial Zone focuses on constructing medium and small-sized factories and industrial enterprises that cause minimal environmental pollution. Thus, the sectors that draw investment to cater to both domestic demand and export are:
