Gia Binh II Industrial Park, established in Bac Ninh Province, covers 250 hectares. Hanaka Group Joint Stock Company is the investor with an investment of 3.956,8 billion VND, and the park will operate until 2071.

I. Overview of Gia Binh II Industrial Park – Bac Ninh:

On March 12, 2021, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 347/QD-TTg approving the investment project for the construction and operation of infrastructure in Gia Binh II Industrial Park. On April 12, 2021, the Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 128/QD-UBND to establish Gia Binh II Industrial Park. According to this decision, Gia Binh II Industrial Park has a planned total area of 250 hectares, located in Gia Binh District, Bac Ninh Province.

The investor of the industrial park is Hanaka Group Joint Stock Company with a total investment capital of 3,956.8 billion VND. The operating period of the industrial park is until March 12, 2071. Investors invest in modern and advanced technologies, clean industries in the industrial park to promote socio-economic development in the southern region of the Duong River and Bac Ninh Province. Currently, the industrial park is in the initial phase of construction. Once operational, Gia Binh II Industrial Park is expected to become a prominent investment attraction for Gia Binh District and Bac Ninh Province as a whole.

This is a concentrated industrial park with synchronized technical infrastructure to attract modern and advanced manufacturing and business projects, as well as clean industries that do not cause environmental pollution.

Planning:

Administrative and service facilities are located along National Highway 17, and green parks are planned in the central area to create architectural landscapes for the industrial park. The industrial land plots are planned with diverse scales, including large land plots adjacent to Provincial Road 282B. After becoming operational, Gia Binh II Industrial Park is expected to be a “highlight” contributing to the completion of infrastructure for industrial parks and clusters, in line with the overall socio-economic development plan of Bac Ninh Province until 2020 and the vision until 2030.

Since its establishment, the investor has actively coordinated with local authorities to complete related procedures. The schedule is as follows:

  • From Q4 2021 to Q1 2022: investment preparation and groundbreaking.
  • From Q4 2021 to Q2 2022: compensation and site clearance.
  • By the end of Q4 2024: implementation of investment activities.
  • The land is expected to be fully occupied by Q4 2026.

Gia Binh II Industrial Park is adjacent to National Highway 17 and Provincial Road 282B. This location provides convenient access to important positions via road, river, sea, and rail transportation.

Internal Transportation:

The main spatial axes have a typical cross-sectional width of 42 meters and include:

  • A southeast-northwest direction road connecting from the junction of Xa Nhan Thang to National Highway 17 and Provincial Road 282B into the central area of the industrial park.
  • A northeast-southwest direction road connecting from National Highway 17 to the central area of the industrial park and the planned Gia Binh district road.

Electricity System:

Street lighting has a separate electrical supply system, arranged along the transportation routes.

Public Lighting System:

The lighting network is designed separately with a residential electricity supply system, arranged along the transportation routes.

Water System:

The planned clean water plant has a capacity of 9.500 cubic meters per day, sourced from the Duong River.

Wastewater and Rainwater Drainage System:

  • There is a separate drainage system for wastewater and rainwater, with drainage pipes arranged along the roads.
  • Pre-cast concrete or asphalt round pipes with diameters ranging from D400 to D800mm are used.

Waste Treatment:

  • Each factory within the industrial park sorts waste.
  • Hazardous and non-hazardous waste is classified and transported to centralized waste treatment areas according to regulations.

Wastewater Treatment:

  • The wastewater treatment plant (equipped with closed-loop mechanical, physical, and biological treatment systems, including odor collection and treatment) has a capacity of approximately 6.700 cubic meters per day.
  • Before discharging into the environment, the wastewater treatment plant ensures that the treated wastewater meets the A-QCVB40:2011/BTNMT standard.

Communication System:

The central information center is located in the central operating area of the industrial park, providing synchronized and comprehensive communication services to meet all operational needs.

Fire Fighting:

The industrial park ensures timely response to fire or explosion accidents with its installed fire fighting system along the roads.

Greenery and Landscape:

  • In addition to the synchronized and well-designed infrastructure, the investor also emphasizes the construction of landscape features.
  • According to the design, the land for construction includes parks, green spaces, sports areas, and water bodies, accounting for 10,13% of the total planned land area of the industrial park.

  • Import tax exemption applies to goods used for fixed asset creation in the project, such as equipment, machinery, and specialized transportation vehicles.
  • Components, parts, and detachable assemblies, along with fittings, molds, and accessories accompanying the equipment and machinery, are also exempt.
  • Materials and supplies used in the production line for manufacturing equipment, machinery, and their accompanying components are eligible for import tax exemption.
  • Import tax exemption applies to construction materials that are not yet domestically produced.
