As one of the earliest established and operational industrial zones in Bac Giang province (since 2003), Dinh Tram paved the way for the industrial development in the province, contributing to making Bac Giang one of the top provinces in the country in terms of attracting investment into industrial park.

I. Overview of Dinh Tram Industrial Park – Bac Giang:

Dinh Tram Industrial Park flourished in 2003, marking the first step in establishing an industrial Park in Bac Giang province. Through Decision No. 1384/QD-BXD dated August 31, 2004, issued by the Ministry of Construction, the initial detailed plan for this industrial park was approved, covering an area of 93,49 hectares.

On May 12, 2010, the Prime Minister approved the merger of Dong Vang automobile industrial cluster into Dinh Tram Industrial Park, expanding the area by an additional 38 hectares, as stated in Decision No. 1253/QD-UBND dated September 9, 2011 by Bac Giang province. This merger increased the total area of Dinh Tram Industrial Park to 127,351 hectares.

Subsequently, on October 15, 2015, the Prime Minister issued Circular No. 1830/TTg-KTN to adjust the planned area of Dinh Tram Industrial Park from 158 hectares to 127 hectares, in order to align with the reality and project implementation capacity. Various documents and decisions followed, including Decision No. 364/KCN-QHMT dated June 2, 2016 by the Management Board of Industrial Zones of Bac Giang province, Decision No. 1089/QD-UBND dated July 13, 2016, Decision No. 640/QD-UBND dated September 28, 2017, and Decision No. 942/QD-UBND dated October 16, 2020 by the People’s Committee of Bac Giang province. These continuously adjusted the detailed construction planning of Dinh Tram Industrial Park at a scale of 1/2000.

Dinh Tram Industrial Park finds its home within the borders of Hong Thai and Hoang Ninh communes, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province, Vietnam.

  • The rainwater drainage system naturally flows along the roads into the channels surrounding the industrial park and drains into the channels and rivers in the area.
  • The wastewater drainage system is arranged along the roads and centralized to the industrial park treatment plant.

Waste Treatment:

  • Solid waste from the factories is classified, collected, and transferred to centralized disposal sites according to the town’s regulations.

Wastewater Treatment:

  • The wastewater treatment plant meets national standards with a capacity of 2.000m3/day and night.

Communication System:

Water Supply Price: 0,57 USD/m3, subject to decision by the People’s Committee of Bac Giang province.

Wastewater Treatment Fee: 0,48 USD/m3, calculated based on 80% of actual clean water usage.

According to statistics in 2018, the total industrial labor force in the province was 245.172 people, accounting for 23,79% of the total provincial workforce. From 2011 to 2017, industrial zones in the province created jobs for 66.000 workers, with an average income of 6,5 million VND/person/month.

Abundant Labor Force:

  • Dinh Tram Industrial Park is located in Viet Yen district, which belongs to region 3 with labor costs at only 77% of the labor costs in Hanoi.
