Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park is located in Bac Giang Province, a province situated within the economic corridor: Nanning (China) – Lang Son – Hanoi – Hai Phong – Quang Ninh, adjacent to the key economic region of Northern Vietnam. I. Overview of Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park – Bac Giang

Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park – Bac Giang was approved by the Prime Minister to be included in the Vietnam industrial park planning under Decision No. 1107/QD-TTg dated August 21, 2006, with an estimated area of 150 hectares, which can be expanded to 300 hectares.

The Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park was established in 2007 and consists of the following two zones:

Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park (Northern zone)

  • Area: 105,0563 hectares, of which the industrial land for lease is 78,5059 hectares (accounting for 74,73%)
  • Investor: Bac Giang Industrial Zones Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company
  • Address: Lot HC, Song Khe Industrial Park – Noi Hoang (Northside), Song Khe Commune, Bac Giang City, Bac Giang Province, Vietnam.
  • Detailed construction planning has been approved under Decision No. 1892/QD-UBND dated November 25, 2014, and detailed planning adjustments through Official Letters No. 3554/UBND-CN dated December 14, 2015, Decision No. 1032/QD-UBND, Decision No. 635/QD-UBND dated August 30, 2019, and Decision No. 1019/QD-UBND dated December 27, 2019 of the Bac Giang Provincial People’s Committee.

Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park (Southern zone)

  • Area: 44,9059 hectares, of which the industrial land for lease is 32,7918 hectares (accounting for 73,02% of the planned area)
  • Investor: Fuji Bac Giang Development JSC
  • Address: Lot DV 1, Viet Han Industrial Zone, Tang Tien Commune, Viet Yen District, Bac Giang Province, Vietnam.
  • Detailed planning has been approved under Decision No. 1573/QD-UBND dated September 26, 2007, with an initial planned area of 89.4 hectares.
  • Subsequently, this area was adjusted to a reduced 23 hectares and converted to residential land according to Official Letter 2651/UBND-CN dated September 18, 2015. In addition, the industrial park has been adjusted in terms of detailed construction planning according to Decision No. 1754/QD-UBND dated October 31, 2016, and Decision No. 18/QD-KCN dated March 30, 2017, of the Bac Giang Provincial People’s Committee.

Investment situation

Currently, the entire area of Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park has been fully developed in terms of infrastructure by the two investors and has leased out more than 100% of the total industrial land area, with exemplary projects such as:

VI. Investment Incentives in Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park – Bac Giang

Specifically, a 9% preferential tax rate applies for 30 years to the income of economic organizations implementing investment projects specified in point b, clause 2, Article 20 of the Investment Law.

A 7% preferential tax rate applies for 33 years to the income from investment projects falling into one of the following cases:

  • Newly established investment projects (including the expansion of newly established projects) in innovation centers and research and development centers qualify for the incentives if they have a total investment capital of 3.000 billion VND or more and disburse a minimum of 1,000 billion VND within 3 years from the date of receiving the investment registration certificate or investment decision approval.
  • Investment projects falling into the cases specified in point b, clause 2, Article 20 of the Investment Law and meeting one of the following four criteria: High-tech projects at level 1; involvement of Vietnamese enterprises in the value chain at level 1; value-added accounting for 30% to 40% of the total cost of the final output product provided by the economic organization; meeting the criteria for technology transfer at level 1.

A 5% preferential tax rate applies for 37 years to the income from activities of subjects or investment projects falling into one of the following cases:

  • Investment projects falling into the cases specified in point b, clause 2, Article 20 of the Investment Law and meeting one of the following four criteria: High-tech projects at level 2; involvement of Vietnamese enterprises in the value chain at level 2; value-added accounting for over 40% of the total cost of the final output product provided by the economic organization; meeting the criteria for technology transfer at level 2.
