The People’s Committee of Ninh Binh province established Khanh Phu Industrial Park – Ninh Binh, the first industrial zone in the province, in 2004 under Decision No. 1687/QD-UB dated July 20, 2004. The industrial zone covers an area of 351 hectares (according to Document No. 1499/TTg-KTN dated August 18, 2014, by the Prime Minister).
The current industrial zone includes Tien Hung Port, which is operational and facilitates convenient transportation of goods. To the west of the industrial zone is Ninh Phuc Port, capable of receiving 3,000-ton ships via the Day River.
The infrastructure development company is the investor of Khanh Phu Industrial Zone.
Currently, the project has completed the entire infrastructure system to meet the needs of various industries.
Convenient transportation location:
Khanh Phu Industrial Park – Ninh Binh is located in Khanh Phu commune and Yen Khanh district, as well as Ninh Phuc commune and Ninh Binh city, Ninh Binh Province.
The industrial zone is adjacent to National Highway 10 and the Cau Gie – Ninh Binh Expressway, which passes through the industrial zone. It is bordered by the Day River to the north and west, with a river port for waterway export and an external warehouse located to the north of the industrial zone. Ninh Phuc Port forms the western boundary of the industrial zone.
The industrial zone has a relatively favorable location and transportation system, with synchronized and modern infrastructure. The province’s investment attraction policies offer many attractive incentives. Khanh Phu Industrial Park is a prominent multi-sector industrial zone in Ninh Binh province. Internal transportation:
The internal transportation system is divided into main roads and branches.
The internal road system consists of 4-lane main roads and 2-lane branch roads.
Electricity system:
The power source is supplied from the 110/35KV power line running through the industrial park.
Currently, there is a 110KV transformer substation serving the investors within the industrial park.
Public lighting system:
The street lighting network is designed independently, strategically arranging a power supply system along the road axes.
Water system:
Thanh Nam Clean Water Plant with a capacity of 20,000 m3/day and night fully serves the water demand within the industrial zone.
Stormwater and wastewater drainage system:
The stormwater and wastewater (including industrial wastewater and domestic wastewater) drainage systems operate separately.
The drainage systems collect stormwater and release it into rivers in the area.
The wastewater is collected and transported to the industrial zone’s wastewater treatment plant.
Waste treatment:
Factories in the industrial zone will sign contracts with waste management units responsible for waste classification, collection, and transportation to ensure the transportation of waste out of the industrial zone, thereby avoiding environmental pollution.
Wastewater treatment:
The industrial zone directly discharges treated wastewater that meets environmental standards into the stormwater drainage network.
The capacity of the wastewater treatment plant meets the environmental standards at 40,000 m3/day and night.
Communication information system:
The industrial park meets the demand for telephone subscribers, broadband ADSL, and fiber optic communication.
