I. Overview of Nam Cam Ranh Industrial Park:

The South Cam Ranh Industrial Zone is situated in Cam Thinh Dong Commune, Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa Province.

Currently, Khanh Hoa Province stands out as one of the provinces hosting numerous high-rated Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) projects. These projects, notable for both their quantity and quality, have drawn investments from large conglomerates such as Hyundai and Vingroup. This has drawn a substantial workforce from various provinces, promising to provide highly skilled labor for the Central Industrial Zone.

Following Decision No. 387/QD-UBND on February 4, 2010, regarding the detailed planning of the 1/2000 industrial zone, the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa Province established the South Cam Ranh Industrial Zone.

The Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone has invested in the South Cam Ranh Industrial Zone, which covers a planned area of 350 hectares.

Furthermore, the Industrial Zone is adjacent to the urban development planning area, making it convenient to develop a model of an industrial, service, and coastal urban area. Cam Ranh Bay, one of the largest bays with a robust service and tourism development, connects with it.

Additionally, it enjoys favorable transportation conditions via sea, air, road, and railway, with existing infrastructure offering advantageous conditions for investments in this area.

With its low population density, it has an advantage in expanding projects.

II. Infrastructure of Nam Cam Ranh Industrial Park:

The Water Supply System:

The project leverages the water supply system of Cam Ranh City to sufficiently meet the water demand for its construction and operation.

The Power Supply System:

The ready-to-use power supply system of Cam Ranh City fulfills the energy needs during the project’s construction and operation, in alignment with the investment and construction progress schedule.

The Telecommunications System:

The readily available telecommunications system of Cam Ranh City caters to the communication needs of the investors.

Transport Infrastructure:

National Highway 1A runs along the industrial zone; Cam Ranh International Airport is approximately 30 km away; the North-South railway is around 0.5 km away; Cam Ranh Port (accommodating ships of 50,000 DWT) is about 6 km away.

Worker Housing Area:

Planners have designated a worker housing area close to the project site in the south of the industrial zone, which spans about 5 hectares.

Labour Training:

• Khanh Hoa Province has 6 universities, 1 vocational college, and 7 vocational training centers located in towns and cities.
• As the project is prepared for deployment, the investor can contract training according to the needs.

The Drainage System:

A separate design is made for rainwater and wastewater drainage.

Wastewater Treatment System:

The industrial zone will centrally treat wastewater from factories and residential activities with large capacity before discharging it into nature.

Greenery System:

In the Khanh Hoa Industrial Zone, we disperse greenery following the green-clean-beautiful criteria to reduce the environmental impact of the rented factories.

Fire Protection System:

This system is installed alongside the clean water system to ensure safety for the industrial zone.

III. Industry attracting investment in The Industrial Park:

The South Cam Ranh Industrial Zone is attracting a range of industries such as:

• Processing of fruits and vegetables, canned food.
• Export-oriented seafood processing.
• Production of clothes, shoes, household plastic items, and children’s toys.
• Manufacturing of high-precision electronics, electrical goods, and machinery.
• Production of high-quality plastics and automobile glass.
• Drying and processing seafood products.

Furthermore, the Industrial Zone is intensifying its investment in building modern technical infrastructure to cater to the needs of mechanical industries, assembly and fabrication, light industries, and supportive industries, which cause minimal environmental pollution.
