I. Overview of Son Nam Industrial Park – Tuyen Quang:

On August 24, 2015, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 1026/QD-UBND, approving the master plan for the detailed construction of Son Nam Industrial Park in Tuyen Quang province.

On July 15, 2016, the Provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 230/QD-UBND, approving the detailed construction plan of Son Nam IP in Tuyen Quang province, with a total planned area of 150 hectares.

Son Nam Industrial Park currently has 8 investment projects with a total registered capital of over 450 billion VND. There are 2 operational projects, 3 projects under construction for infrastructure, 1 project on hold, and 2 projects undergoing investment procedure completion. These projects create job opportunities for approximately 100 workers.

Son Nam Industrial Park is located in Son Nam commune, Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang Province, Vietnam.

Distances to key locations:

Internal transportation:

  • The road system includes 2 internal lanes and 2 main roads with 4 lanes, facilitating the access of large vehicles.

Electricity system:

Waste management:

  • Investors will sign service contracts with professional waste management units.

Wastewater treatment:

  • Wastewater from factories and domestic sources will be treated through a centralized waste treatment station with a capacity of 2,000 m3 per day and night before being discharged into the environment.

  • Rent exemption for 11 years from the project’s operational date for projects in the prioritized investment sectors.
  • Rent exemption for 7 years for remaining investment projects.

Labor training fund support:

  • 50% support for domestic training courses, up to 2 million VND/person/course.

Infrastructure construction support:

  • The province invests in infrastructure, including roads, and drainage systems, up to the industrial park’s boundaries.
  • The provincial People’s Committee balances the local budget to support the construction of internal roads and shared wastewater systems within the industrial park.

VII. Labor supply and costs in Son Nam Industrial Park – Tuyen Quang:

Labor supply:

  • According to the 2015 Statistical Yearbook, Tuyen Quang has a population of 760,289 people.
