I. Overview of Thanh Binh Industrial Park – Bac Kan:

Thanh Binh Industrial Zone (Chợ Mới District) is the only industrial zone in Bac Kan province, planned with a total area of 153.8 hectares.
The investment and infrastructure construction of Thanh Binh Industrial Zone were divided into two phases. Investors started investing and constructing Phase 1 in 2007, and it became operational in 2012, covering an area of 73.5 hectares.
Phase 2 of the infrastructure system for Thanh Binh Industrial Zone is planned with a scale of 80.3 hectares.
Onsen Fuji Tourism Service Joint Stock Company is currently undertaking the procedures for investment, construction, and infrastructure business. The Ministry of Planning and Investment is evaluating the company’s proposal, which will be submitted to the Prime Minister for investment approval by regulations.
After 15 years of operation, Thanh Binh Industrial Zone has witnessed the effective implementation of numerous projects. Capitalizing on its advantages, Bac Kan province is actively attracting investment to promote local socio-economic development. Thanh Binh Industrial Zone currently has 8 active projects with products.

II. Geographical location of Thanh Binh Industrial Park – Bac Kan:

Thanh Binh Industrial Zone is located in Thanh Binh Commune, Cho Moi District, Bac Kan Province.

  • It is 103km away from Noi Bai International Airport.
  • It is 129km away from the center of Hanoi.
  • It is 135km away from Hai Phong Seaport.
  • It is 132km away from Hanoi Railway Station.

III. Infrastructure of the Industrial Park: 

Internal transportation:

  • The internal concrete roads are constructed according to the standards of 2 to 6 lanes, with a width of 40m, divided into 4 lanes.
  • The branch roads have a width of 31m, and the internal roads of the industrial zone have a road width of 15m.

Electrical system:

The power transmission lines are 110/35/22KV lines with a power capacity of 126 MVA, and they are arranged adjacent to the factory fence.

Public lighting system:

The designers arranged the street lighting network separately from the residential power supply system and along the traffic axes.

Water supply system:

  • The water supply capacity is 20,000m3 per day and night, serving both the industrial and domestic needs of the workers in the Industrial Zone.
  • The clean water supply system is arranged at the base of the factory fence.

Wastewater and rainwater drainage system:

  • The rainwater drainage system flows naturally along the road routes leading to the canals surrounding the Industrial Zone and eventually discharges into the canals and living areas within the zone.
  • The wastewater drainage system is arranged along the road routes and converges at the Treatment Plant of the Industrial Zone.

Waste treatment:

  • The investor will enter into a service contract with professional waste treatment units.
  • Currently, the total volume of wastewater in the new Industrial Zone is about 50m3 per day and night.
  • As for household waste, the investment company provides waste bins and the Urban Environment Company of Chợ Mới District is responsible for transporting them to centralized treatment facilities.

Wastewater treatment:

  • The centralized wastewater treatment system of the industrial zone has a capacity of treating 2,500m3 per day and night.
  • The collection of wastewater and operation of the centralized wastewater treatment plant comply with environmental standards and regulations.
  • Before discharging into the Cau River, the wastewater undergoes treatment through settling tanks and filtration tanks, ensuring hygiene and preventing environmental pollution.
  • The automatic monitoring system equipped at the plant can provide continuous water quality monitoring results throughout the day.

Communication system:

The seamless communication system is provided by network providers such as Viettel and VNPT.
