  • Adjacent to Can Tho Bridge and its approach roads.
  • Adjacent to Binh Minh Industrial Park and the Hau River.

Port construction scale:

  • The design of the port is in the form of a pier, including the main bridge and the access bridges.
  • The main bridge has a total length of 700m, width of 32m, corresponding to 4 berths capable of accommodating vessels with a load capacity ranging from 10,000 to 20,000 DWT.
  • The access bridges are arranged with four bridges, 15m wide, and lengths ranging from 41.8m to 68.9m.
  • The berths are located approximately 60-75m away from the existing shorelines, and the distance from the fairway ranges from 320m to 346.3m. The natural depth in this area is mostly from -12.1m to -14.5m (Chart Datum).
  • The Port’s upper edge is 300m away from the upstream edge of Can Tho Bridge.

Handling capacity:

  • Based on the design process and exploitation technology at the port, the handling capacity through the terminal is 580,000 tons per year for general cargo and 250,000 TEUs per year for containers.

II. Infrastructure of Binh Minh Industrial Park:

  • Internal transportation. The main road is 40m wide, while internal roads range from 27-40m, connecting to the Can Tho Bridge interchange. The roads are paved with hot asphalt concrete and designed according to Vietnam’s H30 standards.
  • Electricity: The power supply is 110/158/2KV with a capacity of 20,000KW and a capacity of 25MVA.
  • Clean water supply system: Sourced from two locations, the Industrial Park’s water plant (with a capacity of 7,000m3/day and night) and the Vinh Long water plant.
  • Wastewater system: There is a separate rainwater and wastewater system, connected to the wastewater treatment plant.
  • Wastewater treatment plant: The treatment capacity is 5,000m3/day and night. Internal wastewater treatment by businesses meets Column B standards, while the industrial park’s internal wastewater treatment meets Column A standards (according to QCVN40:2011/BTNMT) before being discharged into the Hau River.
  • Communication system: The investor equips the industrial park with a 5,000-line telephone network, internet, DSL and fiber-optic cable connected to the post and telecommunications network of Vinh Long province.
