Deep C Quang Ninh II Industrial Zone, also known as Bac Tien Phong Industrial Zone, covers an extensive area of approximately 1,192.9 hectares. Situated at the border of Tien Phong, Lien Hoa, Lien Vi, and Phong Coc communes in Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province, this project forms a part of the Dam Nha Mac Service Industrial Zone.

Bac Tien Phong Industrial Zone Joint Stock Company (BTPIZ), an FDI enterprise, is responsible for the development of this industrial zone. The company has received investments from notable entities like Infra Asia Hong Kong, Deep C Blue Hong Kong, and Hateco Group. This project holds immense significance as it demonstrates determination and innovative infrastructure development, particularly in the transportation sector, thereby contributing to the transformation of Quang Yen town. Furthermore, it plays a crucial role in job creation and maintaining social order.

Since 2019, the investor has successfully completed phases 1 and 2 of land acquisition and site clearance, covering a total area of 248 hectares. The upcoming target is to finalize compensation and land clearance for an additional area of 544.9 hectares by the end of 2021. This accounts for 45.6% of the planned area. Moving forward from 2022, the investor will proceed with the land acquisition and site clearance process for the remaining area within the entire designated land area of the industrial zone.

Presently, Bac Tien Phong Industrial Zone has attracted the interest of seven investors who have registered to lease land for their projects, totaling 93.34 hectares.

Geographical location:

Bac Tien Phong Industrial Zone holds the most advantageous position in Quang Ninh province. Located in the coastal economic zone of Quang Yen, it offers the most favorable incentives. Additionally, it boasts excellent connectivity through road, waterway, and airway. Moreover, its proximity to Lach Huyen Port (Hai Phong) further enhances its accessibility. The strategic geographical advantage of the industrial zone is evident in the “China +1” strategy, as it enjoys a direct connection with the Hai Phong – Ha Long – Mong Cai Expressway.

This creates favorable conditions for efficient transportation of goods between China and Vietnam.

Infrastructrure of Deep C Quang Ninh II Industrial Zone:

The internal transportation system, divided into main roads and branches, facilitates movement. It follows a chessboard pattern, with main axes running from north to south and spaced approximately 1,000m apart. Branch axes are parallel or perpendicular, with grid spacing ranging from 400-600m.

The power supply for Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park will be sourced from the 110kV station located at Tien Phong 1 Industrial Park, boasting a capacity of 63MVA. When production begins in 2022, the maximum power demand will be 30MW, projected to increase to 89.7MW by 2025 and 158.8MW by 2030.

Yen Lap, Cam La, and Lien Vi Water Plants are the sources of the water supply. Pipelines along the main road distribute water to specific areas via boost pump stations and water towers in the technical infrastructure center.

Wastewater and stormwater drainage systems are separate. Factories treat wastewater locally according to standard regulations, then discharge it into the common wastewater drainage system before directing it to the centralized treatment plant. Solid waste, hazardous waste, and daily waste undergo sorting and treatment in designated processing areas.

Within the wastewater treatment plan, there are three plants designated for specific areas: a 4,000 m3/day capacity plant for the seaport area, a 12,000 m3/day capacity plant for the industrial park, and an 8,000 m3/day capacity plant for the port service area.

The communication system relies on a telecommunications network connected to the satellite exchange at Tien Phong Industrial Park, providing 10,000 lines. The information and communication network is built using NGN technology.

Investment Incentives:

In terms of corporate income tax incentives, VKI offers the following benefits:

– Two years of tax exemption and a 50% reduction in tax payment for the following four years.

– VKI also provides assistance with investment-related procedures and legal matters in the industrial park at preferential prices.

Moreover, the corporate income tax is granted the following incentives for ten years:

– The first two years are exempt from tax, and the subsequent four years enjoy a 50% reduction.
