Dong Hoi Industrial Park in Nghe An province is one of the ten key industrial parks in the province. The project aims to attract investors, boost the local economy, and create jobs, ensuring stable income for the labor force.

Nghệ An Petroleum Construction Joint Stock Company initially developed Dong Hoi Industrial Park, which is located in Quynh Lap and Quynh Loc communes, Hoang Mai town, Nghe An province. Later, the province decided to change the infrastructure developer to Vietnam Investment Partners (VIP) Limited Liability Company. The industrial park covers an area of 457.07 hectares and is designed with modern infrastructure, including a wide internal transportation system, ample green spaces, and utilities such as electricity and water supply that meet international standards. The flexible land plots within Dong Hoi Industrial Park are suitable for various types of factories.

Dong Hoi Industrial Park enjoys favorable natural conditions for the development of a deep-water port capable of accommodating vessels with a capacity of 10,000 to 30,000 tons. The industrial park is closely connected to the Dong Hoi seaport, which has been approved in the detailed planning by the Ministry of Transport according to Decision No. 838/QD-BGTVT dated April 28, 2011.

Infrastructure of Dong Hoi Industrial Park – Nghe An:

Internal transportation:

  • The main axes are 43m wide with 4-6 lanes.
  • The internal transportation system consists of a well-designed and connected network, appropriately linked to existing road networks in the area.
  • Internal roads have widths ranging from 13m to 60m.

Power system:

The industrial zone utilizes electricity from the Nghệ An Thermal Power Plant in the Đông Hồi Industrial Zone (Phase 1: 1200NW). Once the power plant is operational, it will supply electricity to the national grid as well as the industrial zone and nearby residential areas.

Public lighting system:

The street lighting network is separate from the residential power supply system and is installed along the road axes.

Water system:

  • The industrial zone has a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 8,000 m3/day-night, which will be increased to 16,000 m3/day-night by 2025.
  • Raw water is sourced from Vuc Mau – Khe Lai Reservoir and supplied to the factories within the industrial zone and nearby residential areas through a water pipeline system.

Stormwater drainage system:

The stormwater drainage system operates independently from the wastewater drainage system. The industrial zone’s drainage channels receive and discharge all rainwater.

Waste management:

The industrial zone collects solid waste at the transfer station, where they sort it before transporting it to the treatment area.

Wastewater treatment:

  • Factories locally treat wastewater to meet TCVN 5945-2005 standards before discharging it into the industrial zone’s wastewater collection system.
  • The centralized wastewater treatment plant within the industrial zone receives the wastewater, further treats it to meet Standard B, and then discharges it into reservoirs.

Communication information system:

  • An underground communication cable system, meeting international standards, extends from the factory fences throughout the industrial zone.
  • This ensures all communication needs, including dedicated switchboards, international telephone services, remote conferencing, dedicated channels, high-speed internet, email, etc., are provided.
