Tan Ky Industrial Zone is located in the northwest of Tan Ky district, encompassing Tan Xuan, Tan Phu, and Nghia Thai communes, Tan Ky district, Nghe An province.

The People’s Committee of Nghe An province approved the detailed construction planning of Tan Ky Industrial Zone under Decision No. 4100/QD-UBND on October 4, 2011.

According to the plan, Tan Ky Industrial Zone covers an area of 600 hectares. Developers have created a modern and diversified industrial zone with synchronized technical infrastructure and a focus on meeting environmental requirements. Upon completion, the project will serve as a significant driving force for the socio-economic development of Tan Ky district and Nghệ An province.

Currently, the industrial zone is seeking infrastructure investors.

Tan Ky Industrial Zone is located along National Highway 48A, and Provincial Road 545 runs through the industrial zone for a distance of approximately 2 kilometers. It is also near the seaport, offering convenient transportation for economic investment in this area, saving costs, and providing abundant labor resources.

The infrastructure of Tan Ky Industrial Park – Nghe An:

Internal Transportation:

The internal transportation system includes roundabout intersections connected to Provincial Road 545, consisting of a main axis road with a width of 61m, a main regional road with a width of 37m, and internal roads and branches with a width of 17m.

Electrical System:

  • The power source is obtained from a 110kV power line through the Nghia Dan district (approximately 20km away).
  • They constructed a 110/22kV distribution substation with a capacity of (1×40+1×25) MVA at the industrial zone to supply electricity to the factories within the perimeter.

Public Lighting System:

The designers have separately designed the street lighting network from the residential power supply system, arranging it along the transportation routes.

Water System:

  • A pumping station (with a capacity of 44,000 m3/day-night) pumps water from the Con River to the industrial water treatment plant, which serves as the water supply source for the industrial zone.
  • The treated water is then distributed to the factories within the perimeter for production and daily use.

Stormwater and Wastewater Drainage System:

The stormwater drainage system is separate from the wastewater drainage system. All rainwater is discharged into the industrial zone’s drainage channel.

Waste Treatment:

  • Solid waste within the industrial zone is collected and transported to a centralized transfer station.
  • At this station, they sort the waste at the source and then transport it to the daily treatment facility.

Wastewater Treatment:

  • After local treatment at individual plants, domestic and industrial wastewater flows into the industrial zone’s centralized wastewater system.
  • Then, they collect and transport it to two wastewater treatment plants for final treatment before discharging it into the environment.
  • There are two treatment plants in the industrial zone.

Treatment Plant 1 serves the western and southwestern areas with a capacity of 15,160 m3/day-night.

Treatment Plant 2 serves the eastern and southeastern areas with a capacity of 15,160 m3/day-night.

Communication System:

The industrial zone’s communication center ensures seamless connectivity and provides essential services such as a dedicated switchboard, international telephone, remote conferences, dedicated channels, high-speed internet, email, and more.
