I. Overview of Lien Chieu Industrial Park:

Lien Chieu Industrial Park was established on April 18, 1998 and is considered one of the largest and most important industrial parks in Danang City. It is conveniently located near Hai Van Pass, facilitating the transportation of goods.

With a planned land area of 205.16 hectares, the industrial park encompasses a total area of 289.35 hectares.

The investor is Saigon – Danang Investment Joint Stock Company.

II. Infrastructure of Lien Chieu Industrial Park:

Transportation system:

Designed with a high load capacity, the transportation system within Lien Chieu Industrial Park guarantees convenient access to every plot of land for smooth traffic flow.

  • Main roads: 34.5 meters wide (6 lanes).
  • Other internal roads: 16.5 meters wide (2 lanes).

Power supply system:

  • The national grid supplies the power source through the 500KV Hoa Cam Substation in Cam Le District, Danang.
  • Within the industrial park, there are two intermediate transformer stations with a capacity of 110/22KV-40MVA, providing electricity to each plot of land and factory within the fenced area.

Water supply system:

The industrial park utilizes clean water supply from two plants:

  • Hai Van Water Plant (with a capacity of 5,000 m3/day and night).
  • Cu De River Water Plant (with an expected capacity of 120,000 m3/day and night).

Drainage system:

  • Thanks to the favorable terrain and comprehensive investment, the drainage system of Danang City is considered the best among cities nationwide.
  • Each industrial park has two separate drainage systems for industrial wastewater and rainwater. Rainwater naturally flows into collection wells through a system of channels, ultimately leading to rivers.
  • The wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 2,000 m3/day and night collects and treats domestic wastewater before discharging it into the environment.

Wastewater treatment system:

  • The investor has invested in a wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 2,000 m3/day and has been operating since November 2011.
  • Each plant locally treats industrial wastewater and domestic wastewater, ensuring they meet Column C standard (QCVN40-2011), before discharging them into the common drainage system of the industrial park. The treated wastewater is then directed to the wastewater treatment plant to meet Column B standard (QCVN40-2011) before being discharged into rivers.

Communication system:

The Industrial Park has established a modern information technology system to meet communication needs, including telephone services and high-speed internet connections.

Utility services:

– Worker housing:

  • Currently, most workers in the industrial park reside in nearby areas, taking care of their own accommodation.
  • The housing area for workers will be completed in the near future. It is located within the expanded Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, which is 3km away from Lien Chieu Industrial Park. The purpose is to cater to the housing needs of workers.

– Saigon – Danang Investment Joint Stock Company prioritizes various utility services for the industrial park. These services include security teams, available round the clock, and firefighting and prevention services. The company also offers industrial cleaning services, landscaping teams, and waste material collection sites.

III. Attracting investment of Lien Chieu Industrial Park:

  • In 2018, FDI enterprises generated $68.83 million in revenue and contributed $10.16 million to the budget. Domestic enterprises, on the other hand, recorded a revenue of VND 4.353 trillion and contributed VND 182.25 billion to the budget.
