I. Overview of Long Giang Industrial Park:

Established in November 2007 with a term of 50 years, Long Giang Industrial Park (LJIP) is a project.

  • Located in Tan Lap 1 commune, Tan Phuoc district, Tien Giang province, LJIP has attracted many manufacturing investors with the support of Long Jiang Industrial Park Development Company Limited.
  • With a total investment capital of up to 100 million USD and an initial charter capital of 20 million USD, this company was granted investment certificate No. 532043000007 by the Management Board of Tien Giang Industrial Parks on November 26, 2007.
  • LJIP has many outstanding advantages, including convenient transportation for the import and export of goods to different locations thanks to the newly built Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong expressway and its proximity to large ports and the center of Ho Chi Minh City.
  • The attractive tax policy is also a major advantage, including a 15-year corporate income tax exemption from the year of generating revenue with a tax rate of 10%, 4 years of tax exemption from the year of making a profit, and a 50% reduction in tax for the next 9 years.
  • Moreover, fixed asset machinery and equipment imported by investors are free from import tax, and the import tax on raw materials, supplies, and finished products that have not yet been domestically produced is waived for 5 years.

II. Infrastructure of Long Giang Industrial Park:

Suburban transportation system:

  • Roads: From LJIP to Ho Chi Minh City, you can travel by National Highway 1A or Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Expressway, which takes about 45 minutes to reach Binh Tan District.
  • Waterways: The transportation of goods is facilitated by the presence of a water port at LJIP, connecting to My Tho Port and Hiep Phuoc Port.

Internal transportation system:

  • The Long Giang Industrial Park will pave the internal road system to meet the VNH18-H30 standard.
  • The road width is 16m with 4 lanes, a 3m green strip in the middle, and trees on both sides of the 15m pavement.

Electricity system:

  • Currently, the power supply in the industrial park is provided by the 110/22kV-3x63MVA Long Giang Industrial Park substation, with the largest power consumption of 100MVA (about 53% of the total substation capacity).
  • The 22kV medium voltage power system covers all the land plots in Long Giang Industrial Park.
  • The industrial park is planning to install additional 110/22kV transformers to increase backup power and provide stable electricity to factories in the industrial park.

Clean water supply system:

  • Long Giang Industrial Park supplies water to factories within the industrial park. Groundwater is treated according to national standards for domestic water.
  • The current total water supply capacity is 10,000m3/day, but the consumption level is 8,000m3/day, achieving a ratio of 80%.

Wastewater treatment system:

  • Long Giang Industrial Park has built a wastewater treatment plant inside the park with a maximum capacity of up to 40,000m3 of wastewater per day.

Network and communication system:

  • With a total of 4,000 IDD and ADSL telephone lines, Long Giang Industrial Park meets all telecommunication needs to serve businesses.
  • There are also many other surrounding utilities to meet the needs of investors, experts, and workers in the industrial park.

III. Industry attracting investment :

There are 4 prioritized investment groups in the industrial park:

Group 1:

  • Electrical, electronic, and refrigeration industries.
  • Assembly of telecommunications electronic equipment.
  • Mechanical and assembly industries.

Group 2:

  • High-end woodworking and handicraft industries.
  • Manufacturing of equipment and household goods: Textiles, jewelry, and clothing.
  • Production of leather products (excluding raw leather).
  • Production of packaging, boxes, and plastic packaging.
  • Production of office equipment and supplies.

And group 3:

  • Pharmaceutical, cosmetic chemical, optical instrument, medical equipment industries.
  • Processing of agricultural, forest, food, beverage, and refreshment products.
  • Processing of seafood.

Finally group 4:

  • Production of building materials, sanitary equipment, ceramics, glass, crystal.
  • Paper industry (excluding paper pulp production).
  • Production of cardboard, corrugated paper, toilet paper, packaging paper, newspapers, and magazines.
