I. Overview of My Tho Industrial Park: 

My Tho Industrial Park was established according to Decision No. 782/TTG dated September 20, 1997, by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam with an area of 79.14 hectares.

The investor of the industrial park is the Infrastructure Development Company of Tien Giang Industrial Parks with an investment capital of 7.5 million US dollars.

Currently, there are 28 operating businesses in the industrial park, including 8 foreign-invested enterprises, attracting over 8,000 workers.

My Tho Industrial Zone, located in Trung An Commune, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province, offers attractive tax incentives for investors. According to policies, businesses here enjoy corporate income tax incentives for 15 years from the date of revenue generation, with a tax rate of 10%. Specifically, there are 4 years of tax exemption from the year of profit generation, and the following 9 years have a 50% reduction in the amount of tax to be paid.

My Tho Industrial Zone has a convenient geographical location and can be connected to provinces, and cities within and outside the country by road, sea, rail, and air transportation. It is about 6km from National Highway 1A and there is My Tho Port right in the industrial park. It is also located 60km from Saigon Railway Station and Tan Son Nhat Airport. It is also only 15km from the center of My Tho City.

II. Infrastructure of My Tho Industrial Park:

Transportation System:

  • Main Road System: 26m wide, with a 2m median strip and 6 lanes – 27m wide, with a 3m median strip and 6 lanes.
  • Internal Traffic System: 16m wide road with a 3m green space in the middle, trees on both sides of the sidewalk with a width of 15m, and 4 lanes.

Water Supply System: Provided directly to each business by the TG water supply and drainage company.

Wastewater Treatment System: The plant standard is to treat microorganisms to meet column A of TCVN 40:2011/BTNMT. Maximum processing capacity: 3500 m3/day.

Telecommunications System: Internet service is provided through fiber optic cables by VNPT and Viettel.

The industrial park has installed fire hydrants along the roads, with each post being located 150m apart, as part of its fire prevention and fighting system.
