Overview of Western Gateway Industrial Park – Quang Binh Province:
The People’s Committee of Quang Binh Province approved Decision 719/QD-UBND dated March 9, 2018, for the detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 of the Hon La Economic Zone, within which the Western Gateway Industrial Zoneis located.
The industrial zone is situated in Quang Hung and Quang Tung communes, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province.
The Management Board of Quang Binh Economic Zone invests in it, covering a total planned area of 122 hectares. Currently, the industrial zone is calling for investments to develop its technical infrastructure to enhance its economic potential.
Being located along the convenient transportation route of National Highway 1A and adjacent to both sides of Provincial Road 22 within the Hon La Economic Zone, it facilitates trade and transportation between different regions, attracting a large workforce to this area.

Internal transportation:
The planning arranges 21m-wide, 15m-wide, and 13m-wide roads within the administrative, service, and residential areas for traffic organization, zoning, and functional areas.
Electricity system:
The Ba Don Substation, with a capacity of 2x25MVA, operates at 110/35/22kV. Similarly, the Quang Phu Substation operates at 110/35/22kV with a capacity of 2x40MVA.
Public lighting system:
The street lighting network is designed separately with a power supply system, arranged along the road axes.
Water system:
The industrial zone ensures an adequate supply of domestic and production water to meet the needs of investors.
Stormwater and wastewater drainage system:
An implemented stormwater drainage system operates separately from the wastewater drainage system. The industrial zone’s drainage channels receive all rainwater discharge.
Waste management:
The industrial zone will collect and transfer solid waste to a transfer station, where they will sort the waste at the source before transporting it to the treatment area.
Wastewater treatment:
The industrial zone collects and sends wastewater to a centralized wastewater treatment plant for treatment, ensuring that it meets the A-grade standards (TCNV5945-1995).
Communication information system:
The interconnected system of the industrial zone’s communication information center has installed telephone lines up to the boundary of the land plots, providing sufficient capacity without limitations in quantity.

Corporate income tax:
The industrial zone enjoys a corporate income tax rate of 10% for 15 years from the date the project generates revenue and qualifies for tax incentives.
A tax exemption for 4 years from the first taxable income and a 50% reduction for the following 9 years.
Throughout the project implementation, projects in high-tech sectors that meet the current regulations and are included in the list of sectors eligible for special investment incentives, with significant impacts on the socio-economic sector, apply a corporate income tax rate of 10%.
Individuals subject to personal income tax receive a 50% reduction in income tax.
Import tax:
Imported raw materials, supplies, components, and finished goods that are domestically non-produced goods used for production within the economic zone are exempt from import tax for 5 years, starting from the date of production operation in the industrial zone.
Financial support: training fees:
Projects employing 100 or more workers receive support of 500,000 VND per person.
Projects utilizing high-tech technology and techniques receive support of 1,000,000 VND per person.
