I. Overview of Ca Na Industrial Park:

Ca Na Industrial Zone is located in Phuoc Dien commune, Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan province.

The conversion of the Ca Na Steel Complex Project in Ninh Thuan province into Ca Na Industrial Zone was approved by the Prime Minister in document number 787/TTg-KTN on May 19, 2011.

The industrial zone has a planned area of 827.20 hectares. The current investor is Trung Nam Group, a corporation specializing in energy, construction, infrastructure, and real estate. The industrial zone has attracted numerous large domestic and foreign projects that are already in operation.

Ca Na Industrial Zone in Ninh Thuan province is the top priority industrial zone and attracts both domestic and foreign investors, particularly from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore. II. Infrastructure of Ca Na Industrial Park:

Transportation infrastructure:

  • Road: It includes National Highway 1 (with a width of 27m, road surface of 14m, and relatively good asphalt). The district road starts from National Highway 1 to the center of Phuoc Diem commune (with a width of 12m, road surface of 10m). The transportation development plan in the area identifies a coastal road passing through Ca Na area.
  • Railway: The North-South railway runs along the western side, with Ca Na station currently used as a passing point and potentially being renovated into a combined cargo and tourist passenger station in the future.
  • Waterway: Ca Na port is currently a salt port in the area, upgraded from a 500 DWT to a 1,000 DWT port with a concrete wharf measuring 210m long and 6m wide.
  • Airway: The location is approximately 90km away from Cam Ranh International Airport.

Electricity supply system:

  • The area is currently supplied electricity from the 110 KV Phan Rang substation.
  • Power sources in the area include the 110 KV Thap Cham – Phan Ri high-voltage transmission line located 1km from the area.
  • The Ninh Phuoc medium-voltage power line with a capacity of 110/22 KV – 25 MVA passes through the area.

Communication system:

  • Phuoc Diem commune has two post offices, one broadcasting station, and three broadcasting transmission stations.
  • There are two optical fiber routes: Phan Rang – Phuoc Diem and Phan Rang – Ca Na, with a transmission speed of 150 Mbps for each route.

Water supply system:

  • Currently, there is a water supply project for the area sourced from the provincial water supply system, with a capacity of 30,000 m3/day-night for supplying water to residential areas in Ninh Phuoc district and Phuoc Nam Industrial Zone.
  • There is also the Cà Ná – Phước Nam water supply system project (phase 2) with a raw water supply capacity of 10,000 m3/day-night.
