I. Overview of Nhon Hoi Industrial Park – Zone A:

Nhon Hoi Industrial Park – Zone A, with an area of 630 hectares, is invested by Saigon – Nhon Hoi Industrial Park Corporation (SNP). It is located in the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone on Phuong Mai Peninsula, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province.

According to Decision No. 514/QD-TTg dated May 8, 2019, issued by the Prime Minister approving the adjustment of the Nhon Hoi Coastal Economic Zone’s development vision until 2040, Nhon Hoi Industrial Park – Zone A is adjusted and planned as Nhon Hoi A Urban Industrial Park.

The Nhon Hoi Economic Zone is segmented into two distinct zones:

  • An industrial area covering 394 hectares
  • An urban area spanning 236 hectares.

Situated in the central part of Quy Nhon City, Nhon Hoi Industrial Park – Zone A serves as a pivotal commercial, service, and international trade hub within the significant economic region of Central Vietnam.

With its advantageous position, The Industrial Park fosters economic integration and facilitates international trade. It serves as the closest and most convenient access point to the sea for the Central Highlands, Southern Laos, Northeastern Cambodia, and Thailand.

The Industrial Park has a well-connected, convenient, and diverse transportation infrastructure (including National Highways 19, 19B, 1A, and 1D). Among them, National Highway 19B is the main North-South axis of the industrial park, connecting with provinces and the Quy Nhon Seaport, meeting the transportation needs of investors for goods circulation.

The internal transportation system of Nhon Hoi Industrial Park – Zone A:

  • Equipped with a complete road lighting system.
  • Main roads: 45m, 56m, 65m, 80m.
  • Internal roads: 29m, 27m, 20m.
  • There are two free parking lots with an area of 2 hectares.
  • Roadways are equipped with a complete lighting system.

Power supply system:

  • The power supply system for Nhon Hoi Industrial Park – Zone A involves receiving electricity from the national grid through a 220kV transmission line originating from Phu Tai and connecting to the 220/110kV substation located in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone. The substation has a capacity of 2×125 MVA.
  • A 110kV transmission line connects the 220/110kV substation to the 110/22kV substation with a capacity of 2×63 MVA located in the industrial park. The industrial park can upgrade the capacity of the substation to meet the needs of investors.

Water supply system:

A booster pump station in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone is responsible for supplying production and domestic water.

  • Phase 1 has a capacity of 24,000 m3/day and night.
  • Phase 2 has a capacity of 64,000 m3/day and night.

Investors sign service contracts with Saigon – Nhon Hoi Industrial Park Joint Stock Company to receive water supply at the perimeter of their factories.

Stormwater drainage system:

  • Along the industrial park’s roadways, there are drainage pipes for collecting rainwater.
  • Surface water within the investors’ factories is connected to these pipelines.

Wastewater drainage system:

  • The industrial park has pipes ranging from D=300 to D=600 to collect wastewater from investors and direct it to the Nhon Hoi wastewater treatment plant.
  • Wastewater treatment plant: Phase 1 has a capacity of 14,000 m3/day and night. Phase 2 has a capacity of 53,650 m3/day and night.

Waste management:

  • Investors sign contracts with Quy Nhon Urban Environment Joint Stock Company to collect, transport, and dispose of regular waste.
  • For hazardous waste, investors sign contracts with Hau Sanh Trading and Service Co., Ltd.

Communication system:

  • The telecommunications network in the industrial park meets international standards and provides various types of services.
  • Investors directly sign contracts with service providers to access telecommunications services such as internet, landline phones, fax, etc.

  •  After the incentive period: Applying the prevailing tax rate as stipulated by the State.

For large-scale and high-tech or newly attracted investment projects, special consideration will be given to higher incentives by the competent authority.

Import tax exemption:

  • Applicable to equipment, machinery (including accompanying spare parts), specialized transport vehicles that are part of the technological chain, and domestically unproduced or substandard construction materials.
  • Encouraged investment projects, component and spare parts manufacturing projects in mechanical, electrical, and electronic fields.
  • Import tax exemption for 5 years from the start of production and business activities.
