I. Overview of Cai Lan Industrial Park – Quang Ninh:

Cai Lan Industrial Park is a key industrial park in Ha Long City and Quang Ninh province. It is located in Gieng Ward and Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh province.
Quang Ninh Cement and Construction Joint Stock Company is the investor of the industrial park. Cai Lan Industrial Park covers a total area of 305.3 hectares. It is a model industrial park with modern infrastructure, social and technical facilities, and friendly landscapes. In Phase 1, with an area of 78 hectares, the industrial park has achieved 100% occupancy with a total of 32 projects, including 18 domestic projects and foreign-invested projects.
Here, business activities are always ensured while preserving the environment along the shores of Ha Long Bay.
In addition, Cai Lan Industrial Park is located next to Cai Lan Deep Water Port, which has completed Phase 1 and can accommodate vessels up to 40,000 DWT (including container ships). Road 18A has been upgraded to a Level III standard in the delta. The Ha Long – Yen Vien railway (currently in operation) is being upgraded to the most modern high-speed railway.

II. Geographical location of Cai Lan Industrial Park – Quang Ninh:

The industrial park is located on the western side of Ha Long City, in Gieng Day Ward and Bai Chay Ward, right next to National Highway 18 (connecting Hanoi – Ha Long – Mong Cai).

  • Distance from Hanoi city center: Approximately 140km.
  • Road transportation: Situated on the National Highway 18 route from Hanoi to Mong Cai (Quang Ninh).
  • Seaports:

Adjacent to Cai Lan Port, about 3 kilometers away (Ha Long, Quang Ninh) (Capacity to handle bulk cargo ships up to 50,000 tons; container ships up to 3,000 TEUs).

Approximately 46 kilometers away from Hai Phong Port (Hai Phong City) (Capacity to handle bulk cargo ships up to 25,000 tons; container ships up to 1,000 TEUs).

  • Airports: Approximately 150 kilometers from Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi), about 60 kilometers from Cat Bi Airport (Hai Phong), and approximately 66 kilometers from Van Don International Airport.

Internal Transportation:

The industrial park has a modern road transportation system, consisting of main roads and branches, facilitating easy movement.

Power Supply:

  • The power source is a substation with a capacity of 110/22KV – 32 MVA for the industrial park.
  • The industrial park ensures a stable power supply 24/7 for the manufacturing enterprises, even during peak seasons.
  • Additionally, it can also provide customized power supply according to the specific needs of each enterprise.

Water Supply:

The water source is from the city’s water system, with a capacity of providing 4,000 m3/day to the industrial park.

Wastewater and Stormwater System:

  • Separate systems are built for wastewater and stormwater.
  • Wastewater from the factories undergoes local treatment at the production facilities, following the new regulations, before being discharged into the shared wastewater system of the industrial park and then directed to the centralized wastewater treatment plant.

Waste Management:

  • The factories within the industrial park have signed contracts for waste sorting, collection, and transportation, ensuring environmental pollution prevention.
  • The emission from the factories is filtered according to national standards before being released into the natural environment.

Wastewater Treatment:

The industrial park has a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 2,000 m3/day.

Communication System:

The industrial park provides broadband ADSL services, a dedicated switchboard, international telephone, remote conferencing, dedicated channels, high-speed internet, email, etc. for effective communication.
