Overview of Cau Nghin Industrial Park – Thai Binh:

The Prime Minister approved Cau Nghin Industrial Park in document number 1745/TTg-KTN on October 16, 2008. The industrial park is situated in the administrative areas of An Bai town and An Thanh commune, Quynh Phu district, Thai Binh province.
IDICO Corporation invests in the industrial park. Cau Nghin Industrial Park is located adjacent to National Highway 10, near residential areas with an abundant labor force, making labor recruitment easy, and benefiting from favorable land leasing prices.
Furthermore, the industrial park is among the new industrial zones attracting both domestic and foreign investors, especially those from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.
Cau Nghin Industrial Park is strategically located on a major route connecting coastal provinces in the north, facilitating exports through seaports.Additionally, the industrial park enjoys convenient connectivity to the capital city of Hanoi through the Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway, as it is located in close proximity to the boundaries of Hai Phong province.
In the future, the completion of the coastal expressway will further reduce travel time, promising to be an important driving force for logistics in the Tien Hai economic zone and surrounding areas.
Cau Nghin IDICO Industrial Park is located adjacent to National Highway 10, providing convenient access to the transportation system and connections to Hai Phong seaport and Cat Bi International Airport. This facilitates the transportation and import-export of raw materials and goods.

Infrastructure of Cau Nghin Industrial Park – Thai Binh:

Transportation System:

• National Highway 10, passing through the Industrial Park and An Bai Town according to the approved master plan, has a road width of 42m, with a 14m-wide roadbed and 7m-wide shoulders on each side. The median strip between the roadbed and the highway is 3m wide, and the inner sidewalk of the roadbed is 4m wide.
• The main axis road of the Industrial Park (Road D1B) on the east-south side of National Highway 10 has a width of 35m, with dual carriageways, 8m-wide roadbeds on each side, a 3m-wide median strip, and 8m-wide sidewalks on both sides. The final section (Road D3) has a width of 28m, with a 12m-wide roadbed and 8m-wide sidewalks on each side.
• The main axis road of the Industrial Park (Road D1A) on the west-north side of National Highway 10 has a width of 24m, with an 8m-wide roadbed and 8m-wide sidewalks on each side.
• The road from the Industrial Park to Hoa River Port (Road N1) has a width of 24m, with a 12m-wide roadbed and 6m-wide sidewalks on each side.
• The main axis road of the Industrial Park (Road D2) is already constructed. It is located on the southeast side of National Highway 10. The road has a width of 17.5m, with a 7.5m-wide roadbed and 5m-wide sidewalks on each side.

Land Reclamation Plan:

• Current average elevation of agricultural land: +0.6m to +0.7m
• Current average elevation of National Highway 10: +2.4m
• Average elevation of designed roads within the Industrial Park: +2.4m
• Highest land reclamation elevation (factory area): +2.4m
• Lowest land reclamation elevation (green area): +2m

Stormwater Drainage System:

• Separate networks drain rainwater and wastewater.
• The design of the stormwater drainage network facilitates natural flow.
• The system of sewers built under the sidewalks of the road networks collects rainwater and discharges it into the existing channels and ditches within the Industrial Park.

Water Supply System:

• The total water demand is approximately 6,000 – 7,000m3/day and night.
• The water source is surface water from Hoa River, drawn from the upper Cau Nghin and directed to the clean water treatment plant.
• Water supply pipelines are built under the sidewalks of the road networks within the Industrial Park.
• Along the main pipeline routes, firefighting hydrants (D100) are installed with a radius of service of approximately 150m.

Wastewater and Environmental Sanitation System:

• The main pipeline network in the Industrial Park collects all wastewater and directs it to a wastewater treatment plant.
• The plant has a capacity of 5,000 – 5,500m3/day and is located at the end of the park.
• Along the pipeline route, intermediate pumping stations are installed.
• After undergoing treatment, the wastewater meets Class B standards and the industrial park discharges it into Hoa River.
• Greenery within the Industrial Park consists of wide-canopy trees that remain green throughout the year and can withstand strong storms.
• In the wastewater treatment plant area, a waste transfer station is arranged for industrial and factory waste.

Power Supply System:

• The Industrial Park obtains its power supply from the 110kV power line.
• There are plans to distribute power to each factory via overhead lines using a 110/22kV transformer substation with a capacity of 40MVA.

Industries attracting investment in The Industrial Park:

As a multi-sector industrial park, it has a low potential for environmental pollution, and the main industries include:

• Manufacturing of mechanical components and equipment.
• Metallurgy, rolling, and drawing.
• Information technology and specialized electronic appliances.
• High-quality construction materials.
• Processing of agricultural and food products.
• Hazardous chemical production, textile manufacturing, and dyeing are not located within the industrial park.
