On December 13, 2006, the provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 3223/QD-UBND approving the detailed construction plan of Ham Kiem 2 Industrial Park, Ham Kiem commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province, with Binh Tan Investment Joint Stock Company as the investor.

On September 22, 2014 – the Provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 3126/QD-UBND, which pertained to the modification of the comprehensive construction plan for the Ham Kiem 2 Industrial Park. As a result, the area of Ham Kiem 2 Industrial Park was reduced by 31,2 hectares (from 433,26 hectares to 402,06 hectares).

Ham Kiem 2 Industrial Park is a promising project with a favorable geographical location, abundant labor force, competitive land rental prices, and tax incentives.

II. Geographic Location of Ham Kiem 2 Industrial Park

Ham Kiem 2 Industrial Park is located in Ham Kiem and Ham My communes, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province, Vietnam.

According to the plan, the area includes:

  • Approximately 650 meters south of National Highway 1A.
  • Eastern border adjacent to Hamkiem 1 Industrial Park.
  • Approximately 550 meters west of Babau Road.
  • Northern border adjacent to agricultural land, approximately 2 kilometers from the North-South Railway.

III. Infrastructure of Ham Kiem 2 Industrial Park

The infrastructure has been built synchronously, ensuring the standards of a modern, clean and green industrial park.

Transportation system:

  • There are two main axes with a wide road width of 44 meters, while other roads are 24 meters and 32 meters wide.
  • All paved with concrete asphalt and designed to withstand a load of H30 according to Vietnamese standards.

Electrical system: 110/22KV; total capacity of 2x63MVA.

Water supply system:

  • Currently, the projects within the industrial park are supplied with water by the Phan Thiet Water Plant with a capacity of 18.000m3/day and night.
  • By 2020, the Ham Kiem Industrial Park Water Plant (located 1km from the industrial park) with a capacity of 20.000m3/day and night will serve the projects within the industrial park.

Communication system: The telecommunication system of Binh Thuan province has 15.000 phone connections.

Wastewater treatment system:

  • The wastewater treatment plant has a capacity of 17.000 m3/day and night;
  • Phase 1 with a capacity of 2.500 m3/day and night is already in operation. The treated wastewater meets QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT column B standard.
  • The centralized wastewater treatment plant of the industrial park meets QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT column A standard.

Other utilities include:

  • A residential area consisting of 20 apartment buildings and 72 villas for experts, as well as facilities serving the daily lives of residents such as kindergartens.
  • Schools, sports centers.
  • Commercial centers, convenience stores.
  • Traditional markets, and parks.
  • The project provides accommodation for 18.000 workers working in the industrial park and surrounding areas.

Land rental price: 50 USD/square meter/50 years. (Price excludes VAT, one-time payment, location-dependent).

Infrastructure usage fee: 0,3 USD/square meter/year (Price excludes VAT).

Wastewater treatment fee: 0,3 USD/m3 (Price excludes VAT). Wastewater volume is calculated at 80% of water usage.

Clean water price: 0,4 USD/m3. Supplied by the Cagiang Water Plant.

Electricity price: Average price: 0,068 USD/kWh;

– Off-peak hours: 1.011 VND/kWh ~ 0,043 USD/kWh;

– Normal hours: 1.044 VND/kWh ~ 0,042 USD/kWh;
