Tra Noc 1 industrial park located in Tra Noc ward, Binh Thuy district, Can Tho City is an early industrial park and has contributed to the development of Can Tho City.

The Tra Noc Industrial Park comprises two phases of infrastructure development: Zone 1 and Zone 2.

  • Zone 1, covering 135 hectares, was established in 1996 by Decision No. 631/TTg of the Prime Minister as one of the foundational industrial park projects in Can Tho City.
  • Decision No. 381/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on May 5, 1998, created Zone 2, which spans an area of 157 hectares.

Zone 1 Tra Noc Industrial Park was started in 1996, and is a key project of Can Tho city. Tra Noc, O Mon, and Thot Not industrial zones help develop the city into an industrial center. These parks have fueled steady regional growth for many years. Tra Noc Industrial Park attracts domestic and foreign businesses, making Can Tho a center of industrial activities.

The proximity to the Stella Mega City project, known as the largest and most attractive urban area in the heart of Can Tho City, gives Tra Noc Industrial Park a significant advantage. II. Infrastructure of The Industrial Park:

Transportation system: A constructed transportation system that meets the H20 – H30 standard and provides convenient access is present in the Industrial Park.

Electricity supply system: The 2,800 MW O Mon Power Center ensures sufficient and stable electricity supply for production and business activities within the industrial park.

Water supply system:

  • The supply of water comes from both the City Water Plant and a water plant situated in Tra Noc 2 Industrial Park.
  • The water plant meets the National Standard QCVN 01:2009/BYT compiled by the Preventive Medicine and Environment Department.
  • This ensures an adequate supply of water for businesses.

Wastewater treatment: Maximum treatment capacity (m3/day): 12,000 m3/day/night. Current wastewater treatment capacity (m3/day): 6,000 m3/day/night.

Firefighting system: The Binh Thuy District Firefighting Department is responsible for firefighting activities in the Industrial Park.

Contact information. The Post and Telecommunications system in Can Tho City is modern and high-tech and is available for shared use. It is also fully networked and synchronized with all provinces, and cities within the country, and internationally.
