The Management Board of Southeast Economic Zone in Nghe An province invests in and manages Song Dinh Industrial Zone. The People’s Committee of Nghe An province approved the detailed construction planning of Song Dinh Industrial Zone under Decision No. 1915/QD-UBND.DT on May 31, 2011. On the afternoon of August 18, 2011, in Minh Hop commune, the Management Board of Southeast Economic Zone in Nghe An province organized a ceremony to announce the detailed construction planning of Song Dinh Industrial Zone, located in Nghia Xuan and Minh Hop communes, Quy Hop district, Nghe An Province.

Song Dinh Industrial Zone has a convenient transportation location. It is located on National Highway 48, near the Ho Chi Minh Trail, the North-South railway, and the Nghi Son-Dong Hoi deep-water port area. The area benefits from abundant labor resources and diverse natural resources. Thanks to its favorable transportation location, businesses can save significant costs and time in transportation.

Song Dinh Industrial Zone is a large-scale and diversified industrial zone. Upon completion, this industrial zone will serve as a significant driving force for socio-economic development, attracting labor, creating employment opportunities, and utilizing the mineral resources of Quy Hop district and Nghe An province as a whole.

  • The industrial zone is located along National Highway 48 and Provincial Road 598.
  • The management arranges the internal transportation system to ensure convenient connectivity between factories and workshops, as well as safe and reasonable connections to external transportation.
  • The road network has a width ranging from 12 to 42 meters.

Electricity system:

  • The 35kV power source of the Quy Hop – Quy Chau 35kV transmission line supplies electricity to the industrial zone.
  • An intermediate 110/22kV-25MVA substation is constructed within the industrial zone. It provides power to the factories through an underground cable system.

Public lighting system:

The street lighting network is designed separately from the residential power supply system and is arranged along the transportation routes.

Water system:

  • They will construct a water treatment plant with a capacity of 7,000 m3/day-night.
  • They take the water source from the Dinh River, which is located 1.2km away from the industrial zone.
  • They supply water to the factories through a water supply pipeline system within the industrial zone.

Wastewater and stormwater drainage system:

  • There is a separate system for stormwater drainage and wastewater.
  • All rainwater is discharged into the industrial zone’s drainage channels.

Waste management:

  • They collect and transport solid waste within the industrial zone to a transfer station.
  • They sort the waste at the source and then transport it to the designated treatment facilities.

Wastewater treatment:

  • Each factory within the industrial zone must have an internal wastewater treatment system that meets Standard B.
  • Additionally, the industrial zone has a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 4,500 m3/day-night, which meets Standard A.

Communication system:

  • The industrial zone has a centralized communication information center that ensures all communication needs are met.
  • It provides various essential services such as a dedicated switchboard, international telephone services, remote conferencing, leased lines, high-speed internet, email, etc.
