Glay alluvial soil, including slope deposits, is present in northern areas and can be reclaimed for rice, vegetable, and fruit tree cultivation. There are also abundant mineral resources in Binh Duong, including clay soils, white clays, colored clays, white sand, green stone, and onyx. These resources have led to the development of traditional industries such as pottery, sculpture, woodworking, and lacquerware. Notably, a large kaolin mine has been discovered in the Cuoc area, which is considered high quality and suitable for pottery and industrial additives.

The average population of Binh Duong province in 2021 was 2,685,513 people, an increase of 104,963 people, equivalent to a 4.07% growth compared to 2020. The population of Binh Duong Province includes an urban population of 2,266,771 people, accounting for 84.4% of the total. A rural population of 418,742 people comprises the remaining 15.6%. The male population is 1,373,424 people, representing 51.1%, while the female population is 1,312,089 people, representing 48.9%. The population density is 997 people/km2.

2. Labor and employment:

In the first quarter of 2023, 745 businesses recruited 12,864 workers. Job counseling and referrals were provided to 21,004 individuals, resulting in employment for 11,216 people, reaching 32% of the target. Binh Duong province focuses on occupational safety, fire and explosion prevention and strike handling.

3. Education and training:

Educational institutions developed plans to ensure proper curriculum implementation and reasonable teaching arrangements. All levels conducted revisions and exams for the first semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. The province has made efforts to improve the management of tutoring and tutoring. The province conducts training programs to improve qualifications for school administrators and teachers. Ongoing efforts include bilingual teaching programs at Hung Vuong High School.
